In the course of your information search please keep in mind that any information that you see may not apply to all states and may not be up to date.  Adoption laws are revised often and vary from state to state.  Please contact an agency in your area to verify any information that you find.

The America Online Adoption Registry: The largest free confidential mutual consent adoption reunion registry on the internet.

RESOLVE: RESOLVE is a national, non-profit organization that, for more than 20 years, has assisted people in resolving their infertility by providing information, support and advocacy.

Adoption Forum: Provides emotional support to all members of the adoption triad: the adopted children, birth parents and adoptive parents. They work to educate the public by providing speakers, an annual conference and present testimony at legislative hearings on adoption. A good source of information.

Adoptive Families of America: This is a great magazine filled with informative articles on all types of adoption. They are also connected with the Adopted Families of America organization.

Rainbowkids: An online adoption magazine for families interested in adopting internationally.

Adoption Today: Adoption Today is a bimonthly publication focusing on intercountry adoption.

International Adoption Sites of Interest

U.S. Department of State website on Intercountry Adoption: A great website including links to statistics, specific country info, a guide to accredited agencies, and HAGUE information.  

Joint Council on International Children's Services: The oldest and largest affiliation of licensed, non profit international adoption agencies in the world. JCICS membership also includes parent groups, advocacy organizations, and individuals who have an interest in intercountry adoption. There is a lot of good information on this site!

FCC (Families with Children From China): A good resource for families who have or are thinking of adopting children from China. They have local chapters all over the country.

African-American Adoption Sites of Interest
